Kris Paden
Kris Paden is a graduate of the University of the Pacific, McGeorge
School of Law where she graduated in the top 10% of her class
and published a law review article. She was also a member of
the Phi Delta Phi Legal Society and Traynor Honor Society.
Kris received her B.A. and graduated
with honors from the University of California, Berkeley where
she was President and Secretary of the Prytanean National Honor
Society, assistant to the Vice President of Student Government,
as well as a Parent Liaison and Rush Counselor for U.C. Berkeley's
Sororities.
For 10 years, Kris practiced
civil litigation, insurance coverage opinion law, and insurance
bad faith litigation both in house for a well-known insurance
company, and as a contract attorney for several prominent Los
Angeles law firms. She also served as a summer judicial clerk
in the U.S. District Court in Yosemite, CA.
Kris is licensed to practice
in all California state courts, and the United States District
Court for the Tenth District. She is a member of the State Bar
of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and a
Notary Public.
From November, 2004 through January,
2006, Kris learned estate planning at The Law Office of Diedre
Wachbrit. While at Diedre's office, Kris handled clients' asset
protection matters, such as forming and maintaining LLCs, Corporations,
and Family Limited Partnerships, and preparing tax and licensing
documentation. Kris also participated in creating key estate
planning documents such as wills, durable powers of attorney,
advanced health care directives, HIPPA authorizations, grant
deeds and community property agreements. She also researched
tax, divorce, special needs children, and probate issues. She
worked one on one with clients to administer trusts, establish
and handle conservatorships, and educate them about their trusts
and other estate planning documents.
Kris has lived in Los Angeles
since 1994. She is happily married to David, and has a wonderful
toddler named Evan.

David Walsh
David grew up in Connecticut and Orlando, Florida and moved to
Los Angeles in 1993 where he recorded and released a record album
with his rock band, Disturbance.
David received his B.A. and graduated
Summa Cum Laude from UCLA in 1999. David is the senior project
coordinator for A&R at Capitol Records. Here at the firm,
he is responsible for administration, including finances, budgeting,
work-shop and guest speaking presentations, contract administration,
and implementing new computer software.
He is married to Kris and enjoys
playing guitar, playing piano, golfing, and being Evan's dad
when he is not working.
